Ultrasonic Welding - A welding technology that is primarily used in
plastics and for micro joining. Application of vibration or ultrasonic
energy to join parts is used in high volume applications. For metals, they
could be suitable for typcially non-weldable metals such as copper and dissimilar metals.
Ultrasonic welding is a solid state welding process.
